The Knezovic Eye Institute, clinic for ophthalmology and aesthetic has been present on the market since 2007. It started as an institution with one employed doctor - Ph.D. Igor Knezovic, who, after more than 10 years of working in public health, opened a private ophthalmology practice in a small consulting room. In the period from 2007 to today, Knezovic Eye Institute transformed from a small eye practice to one of the leading ophthalmology institutions in the region. The Clinic currently employs three specialist doctors, and two more associates, specialists in ophthalmology work as external collaborators for the Knezovic Eye Institute. In addition to the medical staff, the Knezovic Eye Institute employs 7 nurses and technicians. Our clinic specializes in the treatment of all segments of the eye, while special emphasis is placed on surgery of the anterior segment of the eye. The clinic performs laser diopter removal, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, crosslinking surgery for the treatment of keratoconus, oculoplastic surgery: blepharoplasty, ptosis, ectropion, entropion, xanthelasma, small aesthetic procedures, treatment of dry eye with a pulsed laser, procedures and treatment of the background of the eye: vitrectomy, silicone oil extraction, cryretinopexy, treatment of the background of the eye with smart anti-VEGF drugs (Avastin, Eylea, Lucentis), laser treatment of the background of the eye, treatment of glaucoma, etc.

In the 15 years of work of the Knezovic Eye Institute, more than 330,000 patients were treated and more than 40,000 operations were successfully performed. As many as 75% of patients who were treated at the Knezovic Eye Institute came through referrals.
